OEC - Engineering and construction

OEC is present in the Americas, Europe and Africa and serves clients from the public and private sector in engineering and construction services for infrastructure projects in various sectors such as transportation, energy, agro-industries and mining.

Sustainability is present in the culture that guides the OEC's performance, with a specific corporate policy, constant monitoring of goals and performance indicators and internal and external disclosure of results. The priority commitments are the well-being and safety of people, respect for human rights, the delivery of products and services that contribute to the economic and social development of the locations that receive the operations, the preservation of the environment, the appreciation of the culture that distinguishes the populations under its influence and the ethical, integral and transparent performance.

• OEC was awarded the Gold Seal of the GHG Protocol Program for the seventh consecutive year - a tool most used by companies and governments to understand, quantify and manage greenhouse gas emissions.
• Signatory since 2009, the OEC is part of the group of companies that make commitments with the government and Brazilian society in relation to the climate agenda. In 2015, it ratified its adhesion in the revised version of the document, which updated and expanded the commitments made in the original letter.
• The company is also engaged in the initiatives of Ethos Institute of Business and Social Responsibility (Instituto Ethos) and the National Pact for the Eradication of Slave Labor (InPacto) for the promotion of internationally recognized fundamental values on human rights, labor relations, environment and integrity.
